1st Time Friendly Sewing Lesson | 3/01 + 3/15 at 3:30P
So you got a sewing machine and you want to get started but aren’t quite ready to jump into a full on workshop yet! Or maybe it’s just been a while and you need to revisit a sewing machine and get comfortable with it again.
In this class we will learn to thread our machines, start and stop a stitch, adjust from a straight stitch to a zig zag stitch, and go over why tension is important.
The goal is to leave feeling like we can sew in a straight line, and manage re-threading independently.
Once you can do this, you can take any of my beginner friendly classes!
You will leave this class with a cute upcycled button up, made by you + a lot more confidence in jumping into another project!
The only requirement is that you know your machine works! While I can teach you what to do with your machine, I’m not suited to repair it 🤎
You are more than welcome to borrow a machine from me for this class!
Bring your own button up or choose from what I have in stock if you prefer, but it will be a random first come first serve :)
*please bring a bobbin that goes with your machine + be sure there is a needle in place, or one that is fitted for your machine
*this class is ages 18+
*due to class size limitations I do not offer refunds or exchanges, thank you for understanding.
